Our Story

Inclusion at the Heart of Everything We Do

The Inclusive Play Project was founded to ensure that every child, young person, and adult with a disability or additional need has access to meaningful, joyful, and accessible opportunities in their community.

Our Background

Why We Launched the Charity

The Inclusive Play Project was established in response to a growing need for accessible and inclusive opportunities for individuals with additional needs and disabilities.

Many families face significant barriers when trying to access suitable activities, therapies, social opportunities, and community services. We recognised that there was a lack of affordable, inclusive provision where individuals could feel welcomed, supported, and valued.

Our charity was created to help bridge this gap by developing services and opportunities that put inclusion at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to play, learn, socialise, develop skills, and participate fully in their community, regardless of their abilities or circumstances.
